Currently, there are more than 400,000 buy-to-let companies in the UK. That's almost FOUR times as many buy-to-let companies as there are fast food outlets or hairdressers!
In 2024 alone, 61,517 new BTL limited companies were established, representing a 23% increase from the previous record set in 2023.
There are 680,000 buy-to-let properties held in a limited company structure across England & Wales, with the number rising by 70,000 to 100,000 annually.
